A 2-CD, 31 song retrospective. Morphine, Treat Her Right, demos. A DVD full of live performances. I just thought ILM should know.

I hope there's maybe even a Hypnosonics track or two in there.

Okay, another reason to keep living!

I don't think the Morphine Orchestra is still going, but I saw The Twinemen last night (Dana & Billy w/ girl named Lari from Morphine Orchestra & a bass dude whose name I forgot), which is pretty much what Morphine Orchestra eventually became. They were really good; Dana Colley's voice sounds so fucking much like Mark's. It was SPOOKY.

two months pass...
Okay, so it wasn't really released until Dec. 7th. It is very, very, very fucking good. My favorite tracks right now: "Patience", "Jealous Dream" (this is the greatest driving-in-the-rain song ever written), "Wig", Hotel Room", and "Livin With U".

The DVD has a bunch of cool shit...the Either Orchestra video is particularly cool. My only complaint about the whole dealie is that the DVD is all menu-based, and I'd rather it just go through the videos/interviews/live performances in one playthrough or something.

But yeah, you guys should listen to this stuff. Definitely not typical retrospective demo fodder.

I like how the first disc seems like more Morphine-y stuff, and the second one seems like it's all older Treat Her Right-era things all harmonicay and stuff.

After watching all the interviews, I'll tell you what...Mark Sandman always spoke very sloooooooooooowly.

The title for this pretty much wrote itself, huh?
