I want songs from "Preservation - act 1" on.

The 60's stuff I know and love. I want to hear the 70's, 80's and 90's songs.

No tracks from the live albuns, please.

Most everything from THE GREAT LOST KINKS ALBUM (never on legit CD, was it?) and also check THE KINKS KRONIKLES.

Oops I shoulda read the chronological. Try CELLULOID HEROES, MUSWELL HILLBILLIES (recently re-mastered, sounds great). 80s and 90s: "Come Dancing," and after that not much that I know of.

Nice stuff listed above, to that I would add:

A Gallon Of Gas
Come Dancing
Do It Again

"Don't Forget To Dance" (good version of this on the Ray Davies live 2xCD IIRC).

I'll second:
"Father Christmas"
"Come Dancing"

"20th Century Man," "Oklahoma USA," and "Alcohol" (maybe) from 'Muswell Hillbillies.'

I heard "Everybody is a Star" on classic rock radio and liked it a lot.

Don't forget "Living On A Thin Line" -- good one from the same record as "Do It Again", and a Dave tune!

five years pass...

God help me, but I'm kind of enjoying The Kinks Choral Collection. Not nearly as ghastly as one might expect (Sorry to be so late, people from England. It only just came out here)...

two weeks pass...

Kinks Choral Collection is sounding pretty festive right now... Really loving the version of "Waterloo Sunset". Sha-La-La!
The quality of the recording is excellent, very light and spacious.

eight months pass...

Thank god someone mentioned Ducks On The Wall.
