Panda Bear from Animal Collective and the Paw Tracks family has this side project with some random asian guy called JANE..

i've gotten a self-released cd-r and 2 or 3 random songs...

anyone got any updates on releases or contact info?

You know, I was thinking, Panda Bear kinda reminds me of Arthur Russell. World of Echo and Young Prayer have a similar vibe of solo, sparse music with plaintive vocals. And I think Panda is finally gonna release some the electroinc material that he has made for a long time. And while none of it goes into diso territory, there is om 4/4 fun stuff.

I think the email on the Jane cds is janesound@bust.com, but since you have one, you should know that.

What were the names of the CD-Rs? Were they titled at all? I did like that track on 'They Keep Me Smiling'- are the two albums still available anywhere, or are they gone?

i still really want to heard these cdrs - i went through a phase a while back of emailing other music every week asking about them, and they'd always be getting more in in a few days, but they never did. some guy on slsk offered to burn them for me, but nothing yet. any suggestions?
