This is actually a good one, as both represent shamelessly poppy moments from artists not known theretofore to sucking up to the mainstream as much. That said, I fucking HATE "Candy", and "Lips Like Sugar" does have that great Will Sergeant riff, so I go with les hommes du Lepin.

Otherwise, I'd take "Candy".

My vote goes for Lips Like Sugar. I'm with Alex in putting my hate up for "Candy."

This is true. But, by the same token, what makes "Candy" so painful is that this is the same man who sang "Loose" and "Lust for Life" and "Penetration" and "Nightclubbing" and (etc. etc. etc.). For him to be singing such a banal dollop of pop dung hurt me in my heart.

I really like "Killing Moon"

In fairness, Iggy did tons of crappy pop songs before he hit the goldmine with "Candy". How much garbage is on "New Values", "Soldier, "Party", and then the horror that is "Zombie Birdhouse"? Is anyone really going to make the argument that any of that stuff is much better than "Candy"? I'm sure there are plenty of crap tunes he did after that, but can't say I even know the names of any of those records.

Have no idea idea how that came out as "both sucks suck". Guess I'm too drunk right now.

"Run Like A Villain" and "Eat or Be Eaten" on Zombie Birdhouse are a thousand times better than "Candy," which is a fuckin' abomination.
