U2 ramps into the old Kraftwerk track up nicely. Carlton crashes and burns as she did on that other cover tune gave us on her debut.

i'm kinda morbidly curious as to how U2 handles kraftwerk -- could it actually be WORSE than simple minds' version?

seriously, i cannot think of a LESS appropriate band to cover ANY kraftwerk song than U2 (other than, maybe, cradle of filth or nelly).

Vanessa also categorically proves the Pet Shop Boys correct when they said that "Where The Streets Have No Name" is basically a disco song, not a rock song, and thus her attempts to de-rock-ify it don't work because it WAS NOT A ROCK SONG TO BEGIN WITH. Hahaha. Etc.
