Anyone got this? presumably it's impossible to pick up on vinyl now? is it good? I ask because I can't stop playing "The Cheribums" and would like to own it.
Amazing track, hard to believe it's 8 years old.

It's "C.V.O Trance" (CVO being one of GU's aliases). Well there's too many to search so I'm tempted to focus on destroyables. Will try soon

this is faithful to rule no.1, namely don't trust tracks shorter than ten minutes! if it's worth releasing it's gotta be at least ten minutes long. that's from a couple years ago. Great dreamy acid bassline throughout the A side.
GU did a great remix of "I Feel Love" back in the day. Lately his "Black Resurrection" LP was U&K. Maybe a bit too noodly but he's all about keyboard solos and inventive percussion patterns. It came out on the fine fine Life Line in NYC. The two recent Unified Records vocal releases are kinda meh, altho I'm not big on vocals usually. Jozanas "I Told You So" still better than "Love American Style".

this and Flu Bug = inspired jazz jams backed with house beats. GU plays several instruments. It's nice that Guidance picked him up and brought him to attention in Europe early on a little bit. But since then, he's become a million times better!
I wonder how his mix is on this and the new Conquistador mixes I've also yet to hear.

this old skool relic also looks suitably smoked out and expensive. my curiosity is aroused

and a big wtf to this. $120 ?
back to known & trusted GU deep jazz thuds however with this strong 1998 album. this broke the 10-minute rule but is still golden, on Vega's label from a couple years back.

oh and was we have arrived mentioned? featuring the awesome song "entercourse of the new age". one of his really beautiful in between warehouse-style/deep-disco-house fucking-deep-underground records. amazing. haunting melodies and dope snare taps.
