Further to my addition to the What have you bought... thread, hads anyone got any thoughts on the above.

Yeah, it does sounds like a cross between a particularly positive, upbeat Stereolab and Broadcast, but I absolutely love it; the songs are getting firmly enconsed in my head. The title Sunflower fits the song perfectly, and the final track contains an absurd, yet ridiculously catchy lyric about volcanic eruptions. See Siesta for further info.

It's a beautiful record. I think it has some Birdie and then some 60s orch pop type influences like the Association in the mix too. I have a finnish pop compilation and it's horrible but then LFP were not on it. 'Seeds' is just wonderful with all of the vocal harmonies and that general Broadcast with stilted english feel that makes my ears melt.
