Song that sounds faster: "Windmills of Your Mind"

Songs that make the room spin: the whole "Dark Side of the Moon" album.

the whole of MACHINE GUN (take 3) by peter brötzmann felt like it whizzed by in something like 6 minutes when i heard it last, ripped on fat tire.

placebo's 'nancy boy' is actually quite mid paced but loud in a club circa 96 it sounded like they were all racing ahead of each other to get the end.

Any band that has ever covered Teenage Kicks seems to speed it up - it is actually quite surprisingly slow.

on the opposite end, i'm almost shocked with how slooow "Street Fighting Man" actually is.

It's slower than frozen molasses and eight minutes long, but there's a certain general air of gloomy inevitability that enables The Pogues' "And The Band Played 'Waltzing Matilda'" to reach its conclusion much faster than you'd think.

Of course, Rum, Sodomy & The Lash is one of the all-time landmark drinkin' LPs.
