I'm ashamed to be an American it's a land of corporate whores Pricks destroyed the reason that we had a country for And I'd rather suck Bin Laden's dick than to bomb another place Cause there ain't no doubt God hates our guts God curse the USA

Because it seems as though we've been convinced that 26% of the registered voters, not even 26% of the American people, but 26% of the registered voters form a mandate -- or a landslide. 21% voted for Skippy and 4% voted for somebody else who might have been running.

Get a clue, little shrewOh yeah, oh yeahJesus thinks you’re a jerk
Did he really choose tammy to do his work? Robertson says that he’s the oneOh he sure is,If armageddonIs your idea of family fun,An’ he’s got some planned for you!(now, tell me that ain’t true)
Now, what if jimbo’s slightly gay,Will pat let jimbo get away? Everything we’ve heard him sayIndicated that jim must pay,(and it just might hurt a bit)But keep that money rollin’ in,’cause pat and naughty jimboCan’t get enough of it
Perhaps it’s their ideaOf an affirmative action planTo give white trash a ’special break’;Well, they took those jeezo-bucks and ranTo the bank! to the bank! to the bank! to the bank! And every night we can hear them thankTheir buddy, up aboveFor sending down his love(while you all smell the glove)
Jim and pat should take a pole(right up each saintly glory-hole),With tar and feathers too --Just like they’d love to do to you
(’cause they think you are bad --And they are very mad)
’cause some folks don’t want prayer in school!
(we’d need an ark to survive the droolOf micro-publicans, raised on hate,And ’jimbo-jimbo’ when they graduate)
Conviced they are ’the chosen ones’ --And all their parents carry guns,And hold them cards in the n.r.a.(with their fingers on the triggersWhen they kneel and pray)
With a ku-klux muu-muuIn the back of the truck,If you ain’t born again,They wanna mess you up, screamin’:’no abortion, no-siree!’’life’s too precious, can’t you see!’(what’s that hangin’ from the neighbor’s tree? Why, it looks like ’colored folks’ to me --Would they do that...seriously? )
Imagine if you willA multi-millionaire television evangelist,Saved from korean combat duty by his father, a u.s. senator
Studied law --But is not qualified to practice it
Father of a ’love child’Who, in adulthood, hosts the remnantsOf papa’s religious propaganda program
Claims not to be a ’faith healer’,But has, in the past,Dealt stearnly with everything from hemorrhoids to hurricanes
Involved with funding for a ’secret war’ in central americaClaiming ronald reagan and oliver north as close friends
Involved in suspicous ’tax-avoidance schemes’,(under investigation for 16 months by the i.r.s.)
Claims to be a man of god;Currenty seeking the united states presidency,Hoping we will all follow him into --The twilight zone
What if pat gets in the white house,And suddenly --The rights of ’certain people’ disappearMysteriously?
Now, wouldn’t that sort of qualifyAs an american tragedy? (especially if he covers it up, sayin’’jesus told it to me!’)
I hope we never see that day,In the land of the free --Or someday will we? Will we?
And if you don’t know by now,The truth of what I’m tellin’ you,Then, surely I have failed somehow --
And jesus will think I’m a jerk, just like you --If you let those tv preachersMake a monkey out of you!
I said:’jesus will think you’re a jerk’And it would be true!
There’s an old rugged crossIn the land of cutton --It’s still burnin’ on somebody’s lawnAnd it still smells rotten
Jim and tammy!Oh, baby! You gotta go!You really got to go!

I can't agree with your maths. Surely we must curse the 40% of the 70% who were eligible to vote but just didn't care enough to get up off their arses to stop that arsehole getting re-elected?
So with the >30% who did vote for him that's >70% of 70% - i.e. pretty much 50%.

My country 'tis of thy people you're dying.
Now that the longhouses breed superstitionYou force us to send our toddlers awayTo your schools where they're taught to despise their traditions. You forbid them their languages, then further sayThat American history really beganWhen Columbus set sail out of Europe, then stressThat the nation of leeches that conquered this landAre the biggest and bravest and boldest and best. And yet where in your history books is the taleOf the genocide basic to this country's birth,Of the preachers who lied, how the Bill of Rights failed,How a nation of patriots returned to their earth? And where will it tell of the Liberty BellAs it rang with a thudO'er Kinzua mud,And of brave Uncle Sam in Alaska this year?
Hear how the bargain was made for the West:With her shivering children in zero degrees,Blankets for your land, so the treaties attest,Oh well, blankets for land is a bargain indeed,And the blankets were those Uncle Sam had collectedFrom smallpox-diseased dying soldiers that day.And the tribes were wiped out and the history books censored,A hundred years of your statesmen have felt it's better this way.And yet a few of the conquered have somehow survived,Their blood runs the redder though genes have paled. From the Gran Canyon's caverns to craven sad hillsThe wounded, the losers, the robbed sing their tale. From Los Angeles County to upstate New YorkThe white nation fattens while others grow lean;Oh the tricked and evicted they know what I mean.
The past it just crumbled, the future just threatens; Our life blood shut up in your chemical tanks. And now here you come, bill of sale in your handsAnd surprise in your eyes that we're lacking in thanksFor the blessings of civilization you've brought us,The lessons you've taught us, the ruin you've wrought us --Oh see what our trust in America's brought us.
Now that the pride of the sires receives charity,Now that we're harmless and safe behind laws,Now that my life's to be known as your "heritage,"Now that even the graves have been robbed,Now that our own chosen way is a novelty --Hands on our hearts we salute you your victory,Choke on your blue white and scarlet hypocrisyPitying the blindness that you've never seenThat the eagles of war whose wings lent you gloryThey were never no more than carrion crows,Pushed the wrens from their nest, stole their eggs, changed their story; The mockingbird sings it, it's all that he knows."Ah what can I do?" say a powerless fewWith a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye --Can't you see that their poverty's profiting you.

Things are going to slide, slide in all directions Won't be nothing Nothing you can measure anymore The blizzard, the blizzard of the world has crossed the threshold and it has overturned the order of the soul When they said REPENT REPENT I wonder what they meant When they said REPENT REPENT I wonder what they meant When they said REPENT REPENT I wonder what they meant
You don't know me from the wind you never will, you never did I'm the little jew who wrote the Bible I've seen the nations rise and fall I've heard their stories, heard them all but love's the only engine of survival Your servant here, he has been told to say it clear, to say it cold: It's over, it ain't going any further And now the wheels of heaven stop you feel the devil's riding crop Get ready for the future: it is murder
Things are going to slide ...
There'll be the breaking of the ancient western code Your private life will suddenly explode There'll be phantoms There'll be fires on the road and the white man dancing You'll see a woman hanging upside down her features covered by her fallen gown and all the lousy little poets coming round tryin' to sound like Charlie Manson and the white man dancin'
Give me back the Berlin wall Give me Stalin and St Paul Give me Christ or give me Hiroshima Destroy another fetus now We don't like children anyhow I've seen the future, baby: it is murder
When they said REPENT REPENT ...

Well, look, OK, I'm prepared to be adult about this and own up to the fact that I may have possibly made some mistakes; just as long as George is prepared to do likewise....
You see, it appears that I may have been just a little hasty and leaped to some incorrect conclusions about the integrity of the US electoral system and that consequently I may just possibly owe a few million US citizens an apology.
Oh, I do hope so.
