It's one of the greatest songs I've ever heard in my life.

Reminds me of going to the no-alcohol disco when I was 14. Still love it. Freestyle baby!

Second song I ever DJ'ed with...the first, unfortunately, being "Hot In The City" by Billy Idol.

It's like how your first time kinda sucks, but you remember the second one for all the right reasons. Or something like that.

Bandanas, cycling shorts and badged-up MA1s ahoy! Pass the poppers! Smash Clause 28!

Might need to start smashing Clause 28 again soon, Mike...

The video is shocking, main girl is wearing one of those 99p tinsel wigs and I'm too young to know whether they were pissing about or if these wigs were hip beyond hip back then.

reminds me of 96.3 FM WHYT in Detroit

can't listen to it anymore because the vocal acca was used in my first stab at doing a remix/booty and i listened to it so many times trying to get the mix right that lisa b's voice still makes me feel a little nauseous to this day

1986 I recall: just getting serious about house music... bought the 12" single of it... loved the melody, chorus... started singing it...my then rock-ist friends started questioning me why I was listening to listen to this "gay shit"... stated buying dance music religiously from then on..!!!!!

Classic tune. I miss that 80s juncture where Hi-NRG, house, and freestyle all overlapped with each other.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 5 November 2004 16:25 (twenty years ago)

I still play it most times that I dj. hi-nrg, house and freestyle, and also new wave, early techno, electro etc. It's all one big genre to me.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Friday, 5 November 2004 16:33 (twenty years ago)

along with LL and Cult Jam, Company B had some of the dopest synth lines of the '80s

dan seltzer, where can we hear your mixes? actually i almost went to motherfucker the other night, but i was exhausted.

(i love "fascinated" btw. it reminds me of being young, wasted and horny (as opposed to not young, wasted and horny). there was a brief period where music like this was all over the radio post "let the music play" i guess)

http://alldisco.net features 2 mixes. It was a disco party, so by no means are they representative of what I usually play. The early set was before anyone was dancing, so I took some liberties, the second set a bit more hi-nrg...literally. It was a pretty good night, some ok mixes, some pretty shoddy ones as usual, only one that I had to try to fix in the computer afterwords! The next alldisco is this sat and I'll probably play more classic disco.

No "t" in Selzer, btw.

I did play "Fascinated" at motherfucker, though.
