Assuming the Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd thing works, what other combos would you try?

Someone just recommended Quiet Riot's Metal Health and Big Trouble in Little China at another board I post on.

What else?

Beverly Hills Cop + Kiss' Love Gun?

Primal Scream's Vanishing Point is supposed to work with the movie of the same name. The only copy I've managed to find is an American import for $50 though.

The Beatles' 'A Hard Day's Night' album sometimes synchs amazingly well with the film 'A Hard Day's Night', which - amazingly - stars the Beatles.

There's a Huey Lewis tape that syncs up with Bloodsport perfectly. You need malt liquor though.

If you do pink floyd echoes with the last segment of 2001 it works really well. just start it when the black screen comes up saying "jupiter" or whatever, about 20mins before the end. Some of it is quite uncanny.

I really want to try Endtroducing... with A Clockwork Orange. Just skip the intro track and cue up "Building Steam With a Grain of Salt" at that first shot of Alex.

MC Transmaniacon (natepatrin), Saturday, 6 November 2004 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

(With any luck "Napalm Brain/Scatter Brain" would sync up with the Ludovico segment)

Long time ago, I was listening to the Sugarcubes' "Here today tomorrow next week" while watching "Betrayal" the Michael Gambon film. Just as "Regina" faded out (bjork sings about lobster and fame, einar yelling "I REALLY DON'T LIKE LOBSTER"), MGambon turns to the actress with green eyes who's name I've forgotten and says "Are you sure you wont have the lobster?"

I had a dream the night after trying the Wizard of Oz/Floyd thing where I watched an episode of "Andy Griffith" while listening to some lounge singer and the guy sang "walk around the tree" when Pyle was about to walk straight into a tree.
