2. Not loud enough, innit?

Dear people that come up to me and ask me to play Michael Jackson:

I am playing Michael Jackson right as we're speaking. Perhaps you should listen to him one day?

Whoops, sorry, I didn't realize my elbow was so close to your head.

Rockist_Scientist (rockist_scientist), Saturday, 6 November 2004 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

I wouldn't actually do that. I might shoot them a dirty look though.

Fine, you don't want smoke getting in your eyes, but holding it away from your head with your outstretched arm is making the smoke go right into mine.

eleven months pass...
last night i realized that the indie pretending-youre-going-to-start-dancing-any-minute-now thing might be harder than actual dancing, especially when done for hours. so much self control! my respect to you, sirs

what about those who walk across the dancefloor, waving their arms in a rhythmic manner as they go to cloak their lack of dancing/or in an ironic pose ("haha, we're 'dancing', but not really!"), until they reach the wall on the other side, where they can safely lean and talk and mock.

strng hlkngtn: what does it mean? (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 9 October 2005 19:32 (twenty years ago)

i really am a terrible dancer, but i would still rather look like a retard than a frieze.

strng hlkngtn: what does it mean? (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 9 October 2005 19:32 (twenty years ago)

piscesboy, Sunday, 9 October 2005 19:45 (twenty years ago)

gear (gear), Sunday, 9 October 2005 19:48 (twenty years ago)

gear (gear), Sunday, 9 October 2005 19:48 (twenty years ago)

At the last Poptimism one ILXoR fell asleep in the middle of the dancefloor and other dancers had to dance round protecting her prone form!

Tom (Groke), Sunday, 9 October 2005 20:04 (twenty years ago)

that doesnt speak well for your deejaying abilities thomas.

strng hlkngtn: what does it mean? (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 9 October 2005 20:09 (twenty years ago)

j/k

strng hlkngtn: what does it mean? (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 9 October 2005 20:10 (twenty years ago)

er, it was nothing to do with the deejay skillZor and everything to do with the vino and (to a lesser extent admittedly) low levels of vitamins and minerals. poptimism deejaying is always k-classic.
