He hasn't produced anything hip-hop since about 1988 though, right? (maybe even Goin' Back To Cali?) (did he ever do anything with Geto Boys, or just release them?) Lil Jon and Jay-Z specifically went to ask him for that throwback sound, it's not like his Chili Peppers and Johnny Cash albums are full of 808s.
