have you downloaded any of the old stuff? any of the new stuff? what would you recommend? I'm having problems with downloads timing out but I think it's just my connection really, which is annoying because the warsaw/utrecht/&c. series looks v. good as does the early electronic music from japan album and the alireza mayasheki stuff, sigh etc.

That's bullshit. The Electronic Panorama set is fantastic. I downloaded it a few months back and listened to it pretty heavily. It's very, very good, esp. the Warsaw one. Also, the Mimaroglu and Siemen's Electronic Music Lab are well-worth checking out. I think it's wonderful they are making this rare, uncommercial music available for listening purposes.
I can't say anything about the contemporary music as I haven't had a chance to hear it.

"Rainbow" from the Utrecht one is amazing.

I'm unfamiliar with most of that stuff, and I didn't know about EARLabs. So thanks for posting on it.
