Midway through a performance at the 21,000-seat Savvis Center in St. Louis, Kelly jumped off the stage, ran to the back of the arena floor where the technical equipment was set up, and argued with technicians as the fight was shown on the giant video screens.

After this exchange, Kelly returned to the stage, said goodnight and left the arena. He then drove to a local McDonald's and spent the next few hours surprising customers by serving fast food.

"He was upset, he left the venue, and then it was midnight and he thought, 'Let's get something to eat,'" Kelly spokesman Allan Mayer said. "His love of McDonald's is well-known. He relaxes when he gets to McDonald's. It makes him feel like a regular person."

wait a sec, did DeRogatis ever respond to R. Kelly's lawyer? I'm surprised the Sun-Times is still letting him report on the guy.

Didn't he allegedly meet The Other Person In That Lawsuit *in* the actual Rock n' Roll McDonald's itself?

two years pass...
http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/05/07/rkelly.trial.ap/index.html

Since being charged with child pornography five years ago for allegedly videotaping sex acts with a young teenager, R. Kelly has had six best-selling albums, three nationwide tours, a multitude of hits and awards -- but no trial.

A series of sometimes bizarre events, including a judge's tumble from a ladder and a case of appendicitis, have delayed the 40-year-old R&B superstar's trial far longer than the norm.
