I actually saw TMBG perform the entire thing on 9/20/01 at CalState Sacramento.
They introduced it by saying something like "We almost never play this next song. This next song is extremely difficult to play and the rewards are quite meager for the effort involved."

I'm partial to "Come on and Wreck my Car" and "Please pass the milk". TMBG did the whole "Flood" album in sequence from start to end at the last show they did in Melb in 2002 - was bloody marvellous, and they made a similar disclaimer about some of the songs being a bit tricky.

apparently the audience weren't into it and had no idea what they were doing - they cancelled plans to do Flood at the second Sydney show because of the lukewarm reception. :(

hmm yeah, as a short piece it's nothing compared to some of the others, but in the context of the whole "song" it's one of my favourite bits!

This album was hilarious to me as a sixth grader, imagining each fingertip as some half-baked theme song, like the "something grabbed a hold of my hand" song which has the little keyboard squiggle at the end like so many children's theme song cartoons.
