ok i know there's already a thread for this mix but i felt this song deserved a thread of its own! it is SO amazing!!

as mark p put it to me: "the popcorn melody, the horn trills, the little air-y breakdown, so amazing"

and it is! those latin horns, what are they doing there? it's like from some amazing parallel '80s universe!

i'm going to listen to this song for the 7th time today

oh yeah and what's up with it being the "hot edit"? are there other edits? longer ones?!

The longer edit is just TOO hot.

(N.B. I haven't heard it really)

the song was a huge hit in the vocal version, which is also wonderful. Andy, the DJ who hosted Morgan at the Cazzo Pazzo party last night played it, and it was beautiful indeed. Morgan's reissue was original the 12" b/w World Invasion by Pluton and the Humanoids. You can't go wrong with that.

i am listening to the original now. as i said to slocki, it's less spazzy and french than the unclassics version and more eurovisiony and epic. i love this too.

Dan Selzer, were you born with such good taste or did you somehow cultivate it as one might a glorious English garden in summertime?
