Why does singing pain Willie Nelson so?

It probably doesn't pain him as much as it pains me to listen to him. Ho ho ho. I'll get my coat.

Heck, I think his voice is as clear as a bell. Alex, wait up.

He is a local hero out here in austin...

Pretty much sums up why austin is bullshit.

Although I will give him credit for writing Crazy, but I give Pasty Cline more credit for not inviting him to sing on it.

Does he suffer from the same ailment as Carlos Santana?

Doesn't he get a duet moment with Dionne Warwick on "We Are The World"? Bet she wondered whose mom she'd knifed for the honor.

that said I've had little issue with his voice on its own. It just helps not to have anything to compare it to.

miccio (miccio), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Fuck Dionne Warwick.

Sorry, I'm just angry at psychics and their friends tonight.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:57 (twenty-one years ago)

if it makes you feel better, she had to sing a duet with Willie Nelson on "We Are The World."

Willie Nelson has a beautiful voice.

My name is Kenny (My name is Kenny), Saturday, 13 November 2004 05:47 (twenty-one years ago)

...its just that he scrinches all up in pain when he sings.
There must be something that ails him.

??

I love willie's voice....it's great and he has such unique phrasing, the way he tends to trail behind the beat a bit then play catchup....It's not a technically beautiful voice but it's always struck a chord with me.
