the Quest is the most horseshit music venue in the world.

horrible sound and those fucking huge columns block the sightlines from too many places on the floor. that sucks you have to see Doom there.

no sure what your tastes run to, but i've always found this site to be fairly comprehensive in listing most of the club shows in town....hip hop and electronic stuff not so much unless it's really popular, but good for most of the indie/punk/whatever stuff in town....updated frequently:

Doom is Tuesday. I was at the Quest once, to see Fatboy Slim in '99. Since then my lingering impression, accurate or otherwise, is that it's really fucking small.
