Anyone else sick of suddenly discovering you are trying to download more or less the entire harddisk of somebody on the other side of Planet Earh as a result of clicking "download entire folder"?

OMFG ... I HATE when people do that ... and a couple of times, I forgot to check the folder listing before clicking "download folder" and then ... AGHRHGGRHAGHRHGRHRGHFGGHRGDHFHF.

One time the guy wrote me:
GUY: Are you fucking crazy?
ME: I've already cancelled all of my downloads except the stuff I wanted. You're the one who put all your stuff in one bigass folder.

Then he banned me. Of course, I immediately banned him right back.

And then we never spoke again. Sorry about that, Barry. ;-)

How did this happen? I am always fascinated by it. Do you only download files and not complete folders? Please explain, cuz it just boggles...

Hahaha. Yes, reopening the trade routes with a little Jandek and Donnacha Costello goes a long way toward smoothing things over. :)

Yes. If I want an album, I'll buy it.

Haha, I *always* make sure the folder isn't labeled just 'my music' or 'downloads' or 'my computer'!!!
