Okay, it wasn't "Nothing Compares 2 U"...

Mid-tempo, kind of fast. A driving chorus, the bass propelling the rhythm. The chorus was like 3-5 words repeated a few times. Pretty catchy. The title might have an animal motif (???).

It might not even be Sinead but let's give this a try first.

okay now I'll tell you the story why I asked. I recorded a song today and one of the guitar parts stuck out upon playback and i got that dreaded feeling you get when something sounds too familiar and I was trying to place where it was and all i could come up with was this song.

now here's the thing: i'd only heard this song maybe 1-2x in my life. i think i remembered it was Sinead and I think I saw the video for it. But the melody resurfaced when I heard the similar guitar part. It's just a simple downward scale but it has a little twist at the end. This song is in E and mine's in D. the end.
