Was that TR record this year? I thought it was last, for some reason. Hmm. I think the s/t Hala Strana was this year--Fielding was last year, right? Either way.. good choices.

Ian John50n (orion), Monday, 15 November 2004 18:08 (twenty-one years ago)

I guess Hypnotic Underworld should be on my list, too.
It's a great record. Wish I could have caught them live this year.

Trip Maker (Sean Witzman), Monday, 15 November 2004 18:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Saw 'em at the knitting factory in NYC; they were totally mindblowing. They did the entirety of the opening suite, with extra jamming. Awesome stuff. Too bad PG Six was such a disappointment that night... though he busted out one of the most grin-inducing lyrics ever. something along the lines of "i drove up highway 80 to get my stuff.... [long pause] from when we used to go out." but it was totally arrhythmic. jams.

Ian John50n (orion), Monday, 15 November 2004 20:43 (twenty-one years ago)

brock - the full length version will be out on soft abuse real soon

echo - i still haven't gotten my copy of that release - that was done by Vanishing Voice minus Satya and Wand. I think some of that stuff may end up on our ThreeLobed CD, though.
