I'm not crazy, institution! You're the one who's crazy, institution! Classic.

Wooden (Wooden), Saturday, 20 November 2004 16:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Wooden OTM, if for that song alone.

ALL I WANTED WAS A PEPSI, JUST ONE PEPSI, AND SHE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME!

Ian John50n (orion), Saturday, 20 November 2004 17:04 (twenty-one years ago)

MY best interest!?

Absolutely a classic

Patrick Allan (adr), Saturday, 20 November 2004 17:35 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm mainly curious as i'm trying to trade a friend of mine my crappy copy of some cream album, for "How Can i laugh tomorrow when i can't even smile today". classic title on it's own, but is the album fun at all?

Andrzej B. (Andrzej B.), Saturday, 20 November 2004 17:38 (twenty-one years ago)

The album is all fun.

Wooden (Wooden), Saturday, 20 November 2004 17:44 (twenty-one years ago)

That album's really good. So are the two after it, Controlled By Hatred/Feel Lik Shit and Lights...Camera...Revolution.

I saw Suicidal Tendencies in 1990 (opening act: Pantera). They were great.

pdf (Phil Freeman), Saturday, 20 November 2004 18:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Weird to think that ST were ever bigger than Pantera.

Wooden (Wooden), Saturday, 20 November 2004 18:17 (twenty-one years ago)

wait, is that pre-popularity Pantera when they were had albums like "Power Metal" and such??

Andrzej B. (Andrzej B.), Saturday, 20 November 2004 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

It would have been around the time of 'Cowboys From Hell.'

Wooden (Wooden), Saturday, 20 November 2004 19:59 (twenty-one years ago)

SEARCH: the debut
DESTROY: Still Cyco After All These Years

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 20 November 2004 22:51 (twenty-one years ago)

totally classic

Roger Fidelity (Roger Fidelity), Sunday, 21 November 2004 01:49 (twenty-one years ago)

First album is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. Not heard it? You haven't heard quintessential 80's hardcore.

Everything else? Patchy. Some great isolated tracks along the way, notably "You Can't Bring Me Down".

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 21 November 2004 02:23 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, i think everything up until The Art of Rebellion is pretty good. While none of the other albums are outstanding, there are very few clunkers along the way, from what I remember.

Roger Fidelity (Roger Fidelity), Sunday, 21 November 2004 04:02 (twenty-one years ago)

"I Saw Your Mommy..."

latebloomer (latebloomer), Sunday, 21 November 2004 04:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Alex is right, first album is classic, the five subsequent albums enjoyable with some highlights. Everything from 1993 onwards is completely unnecessary though. And while the idea behind "Still Cyco" is terrible (re-recording your best work 10 years later) the material is still great and it's better than all their 90s albums.

Siegbran (eofor), Sunday, 21 November 2004 10:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Awww Fuck. Me 37 yeARS old and 'stage diving' to 'Institutionalised' last saturday across my sister's kitchen floor[right from the lounge-hard dive- landing on solid linoleum] Sister's bloke likes Orbital but he went anti clockwise with our circle and we piled when it went 'because you decided in MY best interests........when i went to your churches etc etc.... got drunker, fucked me wrist etc .

hull hole (hull hole), Monday, 22 November 2004 23:54 (twenty-one years ago)

hull hole (hull hole), Tuesday, 23 November 2004 00:00 (twenty-one years ago)

six years pass...

are they still good live? considering going to see them tonight.

titchy (titchyschneiderMk2), Monday, 15 August 2011 11:31 (fourteen years ago)

I was toying with the idea but ultimately I only really like the 1st album and I've already seen D.R.I. twice this year so I reckon I've had my share of thrash nostalgia for the year.

The Eyeball Of Hull (Colonel Poo), Monday, 15 August 2011 13:22 (fourteen years ago)

I saw them live last thursday and they absolutely tore it up - the best gig of the whole 3 days and that's saying something with this lineup. Go go go. Better than when I saw them last in 96. The current lineup is so great, esp the drummer.
