AKA "This is the thread where you revel in both your 808 State fandom" b/w "Dance tracks with male vocals: C/D?"

just going through a bit of an 808 State revival after putting 40 or so tracks on my iPod this week. Love both tunes but prefer Ian Mac's Moses to Bernard Sumner's Spanish Heart but a decent margin. Another fan made a remix of Spanish Heart that extends the intro and generally extends the track much the same way old Razormaid mixes did. Makes it much easier to mix and more enjoyable to listen to as well. Lyrically, i've always loved Moses and Gorgeous is my favorite 808 State album. The 808 mix of Confusion is good but the Blue Monday mix is terrible. As for Dance tracks with male vocalists, Classic AND Dud, depending on the vocalist. Charles Webster has a shedload of quality productions featuring male vocalists and i've always been a fan of the Beloved's Jon Marsh. Not surprising when you consider New Order are my Beatles...deep rooted love and emotional response to nearly every song in the New Order catalogue...however, Moses still rocks the socks off Spanish Heart...although the Negative 1 remix of SH outweighs the original version by miles.
