This is some good shit. Picked up a promo copy at Amoeba for 6 bucks. teh Massive Attack guys just keep on dealing the quality, don't they?

is it well sequenced?? because i already have all those tracks and i'm not sure i want to spring for it. though i've actually done that before - i had an unmixed promo of the "wild bunch soundsystem" disc and i bought the real thing because yeah, they deal the quality.

I think it's very well-sequenced actually. It's one of the better DJ Kicks comps I've heard.

And you have all these tracks? damn.

I haven't heard but FULL fucking points for including that fantastic Foxy Brown/Spragga Benz track! But like Vahid I have almost of this stuff on other things (except for the unreleased mixes.)

to be honest, i don't have the mos def track. is that good??

and i take it that the badmarsh + shri and barrington levy tracks are exclusive remixes??

well, how about the tricky track?? i sort of assumed it was an "original mix" in the sense of how like every mid-90s british band would put out 2 or 3 versions of every single with "original mix" or "radio mix" remixes that were practically identical to the "single version".

I dig.

The sequencing is pretty incredible.

The Good Dr. Bill (Andrew Unterberger), Sunday, 21 November 2004 17:23 (twenty-one years ago)

em, there's alot of massive attack tracks and mixes and MA associates on this. It seems pretty pointless and very obvious.

B-b-b-but FOXY BROWN!
