(I suppose I meant to ask but am perhaps too ashamed in these environs to put in the subject line is "Who else is taping the festive fifty?".

I did it 91/92/93 but I haven't for years. Anything good yet?

i did and am listening back to it at the moment, 'cos i never have time to listen to john peel anyways and only like 15% of what he plays;

Used to listen to it, occasionally taped it, but I now can't receive Radio 1. I'm still curious though and haven't heard much of 2001's 50- 35. Whilst I'd love to still think that there are a few unknown pleasures here I kinda fear they're mostly dull, grey 'indie' rock. Someone tell me I'm wrong, please?

After a few listens, I ended liking a lot of last year's, most of which I'd dismissed the first time ro just on hearing the names. I haven't actually heard it yet this year, and don't think I've heard much from that list, thugh I hvae heard of it.
