I've noticed over the last week or so a slight - very slight - increase in crabbiness on the forum. It's hardly at the level of flaming and it's not much of a bother at the moment, but as ILM's administator I'm going to step in now and say that this while this is an open forum, it's not Usenet, and from now on I'll delete abusive posts and threads. That's directly abusive to other posters, not abusive to bands and records. Those kind of posts I have no problem with.
I should say I've not been totally innocent of posting stupid things, and as I say it's not really a problem yet. I'm very pleased at how popular I Love Music is and I'm very grateful to everyone who contributes. I just thought I'd set down 'forum etiquette' since I've not done it before. Hopefully that way the forum can continue growing and accomodating lots of different perspectives on music, etc. etc.
Cheers, and thanks for posting and reading, Tom

If you can't make your points in a deliberately inflammatory manner, then don't make them at all. This isn't a criticism of anyone's opinions, but it is a criticism of how some people have been expressing them.
