This is the 20 year history of the Adelphi Club in Hull. Part of the
infamous "toilet" tour since the mid-80‚s, the club is one of the last
surviving underground live music venues in the country. One man, Paul
Jackson, the club‚s owner, has championed original live music, and in doing
so has nurtured fledgling talent, many of whom have gone on to become
household names. The club has played host to thousands of live bands --
local, national and international -- making the Adelphi the undisputed music
capital of Hull.

With written and visual contributions by: Radiohead, Pulp, The
Housemartins, The La's, Carter USM, Beautiful South, Cast, Athlete,
Fingathing, Jetplane Landing, Major Matt Mason, Mr Scruff, Bill Drummond,
Andrew Collins, Tom Hingley, Attila the Stockbroker, Charlie Myatt, Ami
Barwell and many others, including Mr Paul Jackson himself.

Many thanks for supporting the club.
