03.12.2004 KOELN STUDIO 672 SUPERPITCHER / MISC. WWW.STADTGARTEN.DE

Also check out the Kompakt shop (also near the Stadtgarten) and of course the Dom. Unfortunately other than the that I can't give you too many recommendations cuz as I was there over X-mas most things were closed. :(

Gebaeude 9 is a cool venue in a big old industrial complex taken over by artists. unfortunately it's a bit out of the way.

the chocolate museum's overrated, but cheap (1 euro) if you're a student

Gebäude 9 is reachable on the tram, although you have to walk a bit through industrial NOTHING to get there.

I am not a UKer. It's very cozy and unfortunately poorly ventilated. And it's crazy packed from 1am to 5am.

one year passes...

I'm off for a long weekend away in Cologne in July. My hopes are for interesting things to do during the day, the Dom, Museum Ludwig, finding the Kompakt and A-Musik record shops. Has anyone got an tips, especially for restaurants, bars, clubs? Is Cologne a fun city?
