There seem to have been 2 volumes of this released this year, the second vol has just come out and is subtitled 'Classics, Remixes & Beyond'. Can;t find so much info on the first volume, so i'm not sure it if its classics too.

Anyone heard them - any good?

eight months pass...
The first one is amazing, especially "Through the Pain." I'm picking up the second one today!

If you're in the USA, the best price is through irecordings website.

Most people seem to recommend Full On: Volume 1. It's amazing, but I fell in love with Prima Edizione first. To tell you the truth, his stuff can be samey if you're not a rabid fan, so it's hard to go wrong if you just want to own one disc.

Full On is hard to find shy of 30 bucks a copy. Jesus.

Check irecordings.com...

Yeah I'd actually just ordered there when I checked this thread. If it's so cheap there why is it 30 bucks everywhere else?!

Not sure, but the distribution of his CDs has always been iffy. Whenever I get his CDs, they're imports even though irecordings is in Jersey.

Well, the second comp in the series, New Trend Sounds (Classsics, Remixes, and Beyond) is typically incredible. There's just no let up in the quality of his tracks, even if there's no real progression (not that he needs to). There's a slight swooning quality to some of these tracks which is very nice (not that it wasn't there before) and a few surprises here and there. I recommend it without reservation.

I can't believe Amazon doesn't have used cheap copies of Full On Vol 1! The Tower nearby has like a dozen for $7-8.

I was also shocked when I found out Edwards was white

I guess I've always assumed he was white even when I first saw his name on a Nervous 12".
