hystereo - gly

three months ago i found this mp3 on slsk. its labeled as "gly-tr0nik" (tron1k being the rippers suffix i suppose), and the tag says its from the "soma recordings july sampler", which google knows nothing about. what google does know is taht the next hystereo vinyl "gly+b" is scheduled for decebmer 7th. now that seems an absurdly early leak. so, can can anyone confirm the tracks authenticity?

i found it when searching for 'corporate crimewave' - it shows a remarkably versatility to them considering it's happy bouncy French stylings (in contrast to the more rampant, wistful but no less euphoric electro-house tone of 'Winters In The City') - would be fantastic in radio edit form for non-DJs! up there with all the great Space Cowboy joints in my book.

This tune is astonishingly familiar, especially the opening. Where could I possibly have heard this before?

A sequel is in the making.
Regarding the sample, are there any funk specialist msgboards where one could request an ID? I'm getting curious myself

Yawn (Wintermute), Wednesday, 23 November 2005 05:25 (twenty years ago)

The only lyrics I could make out were "I don't care what [the/those] other people say/ I'm gonna love you anyway"

It sounds like this one is slower than the original wav... maybe the original wav was recorded from vinyl at 45 rpm?

Corporate Crimewave is such a great albumm, all the way through. Feel like it was massively slept on; it's one of my favorite albums of the 00s
