MP3 clips for each track! Sounds great so far.
No release date. I had asked Ben E. a couple months ago and he said "October" but I guess that's out.

"Will" however is very interesting! I'm getting this XTC/Rheostatics/Kinks vibe. A nice mix of 30s "pop" and Black Sea/Drums and Wires rock. I've had it in shuffle with "Something Else" and it's flowing nicely. They've gone far from their Geffen record and it's more a farther out progression from "Resin."

2005 release, 11 new trax and it`s well worth the wait for fans. Classic SP all over the place here! As long time fans, every time a new Sugarplastic song arrives, there`s an air of aural anticipation hard to put into words, there`s a king of sculptural kind of beauty going on w/ their material. You just know they`ll be some new twist, some new way with their quirkly melodies that will have you smiling, hitting repeat and saving on the `ole Ipod. The XTC inspiration is here, of course. Only Sugarplastic are more than just parroting influences, this is an experiment of creativity for the band as they explore complex guitar chords, melodic shadings, old time (as in 30`s, 40`s!) hooks and unusually lyrical journeys. Not familiar with them? This is the place to begin with what`s in print and available, no doubt.

Anyway, as you can tell I'm an SP dork and wanted to remind you all that it's out. It's been almost 5 years since "Resin!"
