Making the best ever MIXTAPE- the best theme for side A & theme for side B?

hello-

i'm thinking themes for a mixtape here. A-Z? Songs from the country (side A) and songs from the city (side B)? Heartbroken/ Furious?

What are anyone's suggestions for thematic tapes!!!!!! my mind is rent asunder with hunger.

i did one recently which was hip-hop and post-punk/rock

and it was like:

1. hip-hop song about mothers
2. post-punk/rock song about mothers

and so on.

i tried to tie it together by samples but that was too hard.

I once did a Utopia / Dystopia one back in the early 90s where I tried to echo the same themes eg. Primal Scream's Higher than the Sun, echoed by some bad-trip thing. Only got about half the themes really matching though.
