Sorry, tanuki. The Japanese raccoon-dog. They are good luck, in Japanese folkllore they are trickster figures with shapeshifting abilities, and giant testicles that they play like drums. You see tanuki statues outside restaurants and businesses sometimes, always with big balls and sneaky grin. This summer I saw an actual stuffed tanuki at a marketplace in Kochi City, but the testicles weren't all that big (not to be a size queen, but . . .)
