Can I get a list of every musician who died this year, along with cause, date and age (if you feel so inclined)? If the search function allowed three letter words I could just plug in "RIP" and be done with it but alas, it doesn't.

i found out about this during the server downtime so couldn't post anything, but i think most of the LTM-heads already know: jenny cassidy, vocalist and keyboardist with section 25, died of cancer of the oesophagus on november 20. RIP.

Iain - cause of death isn't always easy to find out (many obituaries don't bother to include it), but if you go to my del.icio.us thread linked above, that'll take you to links for newspaper obituaries for everyone in my list (which isn't complete, admittedly). All of then have age and date of death; most have place of death too. A lot of the obits are now hidden behind registration walls, but if you try searching Google groups for the names you can often find copies.
