Who's the oldest musician you've seen live?

I saw Sam Rivers last month and he's 81 and has the energy of someone half his age or less!

I guess music keeps them young...

I saw Elvin Jones about a year before he died, he was fantastic. Could barely walk and talk but be whacked the shit outta those drums.

Les Paul is 89, and still plays every Monday at Iridium in NYC. I saw him a couple of years ago--he was great.

I saw Rufus Thomas in Nashville in 1999. He was 82 at the time. He was pretty good -- he even did the Funky Chicken.

Ed Cassidy of Spirit is still playing drums and he has to be in his mid 70s.
