Could Phil Collins take on Elton John in a fistfight in a bar?

totally. phil collins is a tough dude. elton is all flab.

I hate to be all stereotypical by picking the straight dude over the gay dude, but Phil Collins is the obvious winner here.

Elton say, Saturday night's alright for fightin'. So if it's on a Saturday night, Elton may pull it off.

Then again, Phil is a drummer, so he's used to hitting things.

Then again, Phil is a drummer, so he's used to hitting things.

on the other hand, elton is used to hitting his piano, roadies, band members, etc., when he's pissed off and/or drunk/high. back when elton was snorting coke like tony montana, i would've taken him over phil any day.

nowadays, i'd say it's 50/50 (even a clean-and-sober elton still has a nasty temper).

C-man v. Stephen Hawking

Gotta go with the guy in the wheelchair, get me?

Eisbär (llamasfur), Monday, 27 December 2004 06:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Elton would mop the floor with Phil.

Consider:

It all depends on Phil's willingness to headbutt.

what id really like to see is Peter Gabriel vs Phil

chaki in charge (chaki), Monday, 27 December 2004 18:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Phil would try to headbutt him but wouldn't be able to push past Gabriel's girth. Then Gabriel would bounce him to the ground and sit on him. The End.

Considering Phil's extremely high tolerance for pain that's he accumulated through years of brutal dungeon torture in the S&M underground -- a fact that, although I'm not 100% sure of, I'm at least 90% sure of; I'd say Elton John would win.

"someone kicked my ass tonight" ... or "someone kicked phil's ass tonight"?

Eisbär (llamasfur), Tuesday, 28 December 2004 07:18 (twenty-one years ago)

The real winner? The public.
