ts: nww - an awkward pause vs boredoms - super ae

fun ironic? replication of unfashionable musics (prog, trad irish, musichall etc) become a musical "journey", nww going undeniably psyche, boredoms were already psych, but nww seems realer, more human, boredoms are like a cartoon (but i guess that says more about western perceptions of cool cult-y japanese bands), an awkward pause's difficult "noise" parts are darker and more threatening, whereas super ae is playfully trippy. both albums are the artist's best works in my opinion. (i sense most people will go with super ae, but i guess i just want some more articulate person to help point out how similar these two records are.)

This is not a very articulate answer but those records are both artists' deepest venture into krautrock territory.
