Not a drug. As a punishment, you die!

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 01:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Sugar.

As punishment, now you get anally raped, tortured and murdered. Should have said weed.

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 01:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Tweed.

Love is THE drug.

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 01:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 01:56 (twenty-one years ago)

coffee is best

dan (dan), Monday, 3 January 2005 02:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Cake.

James Mitchell (James Mitchell), Monday, 3 January 2005 02:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't listen to music taking the drug opposite to the drugs that the people who made the music were taking. Don't listen to speed metal on heroin. Don't listen to the Grateful Dead on speed you will go insane.

Orbit (Orbit), Monday, 3 January 2005 02:22 (twenty-one years ago)

more interestingly, whats the worst drug on which to listen to music?

There again, I have to say acid. What a lovely all-encompassing accident it is.

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 02:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Depends on the kind of music.

dlp9001, Monday, 3 January 2005 02:48 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah but i mean some drugs actually dull your hearing acuity. (eg alcohol). actually sometimes that a good thing.

Elliot (Elliot), Monday, 3 January 2005 03:07 (twenty-one years ago)

You should listen to music without drugs.

You should dance to music on crystal meth and vodka.

Jacob (Jacob), Monday, 3 January 2005 06:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Pot is for listening to the music, acid is for thinking about the music, booze is for moving to the music, and nicotine is for posing with the music.

f ath, Monday, 3 January 2005 07:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Pot.

No question about it. that's my honest, non-ironic answer.

Don't listen to music taking the drug opposite to the drugs that the people who made the music were taking. Don't listen to speed metal on heroin. Don't listen to the Grateful Dead on speed you will go insane.

B-b-but Gar Samuelson, Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield were all on the junk and Grateful Dead wrote a song about driving trains on cocaine.

Triple Ho, Monday, 3 January 2005 09:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Jerry Garcia was extremely fond of powdering his nose

Hari Ashurst (Toaster), Monday, 3 January 2005 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

worst drug. ketamine takes it easily.
it does absolutely nothing for it. it becomes almost incomprehensible

phunktion, Monday, 3 January 2005 13:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Depends on the kind of music

this is the only comment on this thread I can agree with.

nick.K (nick.K), Monday, 3 January 2005 13:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm with Stormy - THC all the way, as far as LISTENING goes. (Sure ain't conducive for dancing, however.)

Myonga Von Bong (Myonga Von Bontee), Monday, 3 January 2005 14:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Absinthe, definitely. Unless you're at a loud rock party with people running around all over the place. In that case the weed can make even reggae sound cool.

Adam Bruneau (oliver8bit), Monday, 3 January 2005 18:26 (twenty-one years ago)

E + SHROOMZ

Ganbare Goemon (ex machina), Monday, 3 January 2005 18:38 (twenty-one years ago)

weed obv. - that and acid are the only one's that truly increase your understanding of the music...the others are more of an illusion

re: Ketamine - I have to disagree...I used to do a lot of it around the time that Zaireeka came out - and I'd lie in the middle of the floor and feel like I was on some beautiful/demented train ride - so it can do something positive, actually

Space Is the Place (Space Is the Place), Monday, 3 January 2005 19:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I listened to Madvillainy on New Years Day on Shrooms and it made me really nervous and kind of freaked out.

darin (darin), Monday, 3 January 2005 19:57 (twenty-one years ago)

lsd can enhance+detract from just about anything in life.
you can sit and get absorbed, or you can also fall into a silent scream freak out with the wrong music+atmosphere...

pot, however, has only done good things for listening.

BUT...
lsd at shows is a proven enhancer, just have friends around to keep you from walking into oblivion.
pot at shows is harder, mainly because you have to do it stealthy (around here at least)
blow+music is a non-event sometimes. it'll make you listen hard, but not feel a damned thing...if you wanna dance, yr on, if you wanna understand, yr not.

shrooms just leave me in state.
weired out is that state.

27 years E free.

eedd, Monday, 3 January 2005 21:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Either ecstacy or acid.
