I think that was his personal car. I grabbed the picture from here http://www.nudiesrodeotailor.com/gallery_cars02.html though all of those images are really crappy. There's a good book about Nudie suits though with better pix of his car. All of the door handles and everything are pistols!

i'm not exactly sure what these suits are (are they named for a person?) but this album has a great suit and the girl behind the counter when i bought it said it was a nudie suit. i thought she meant he looked naked (it is skin toned).

album must be seen close up and on the back to appreciate its greatness

Yep, Nudie was a tailor who was the first to put rhinestones on cowboy shirts. That's him in the car up above. He made Elvis' famous gold lamŽ suit and had a store in Hollywood where all of the celebs would get custom suits made.

did anyone see that cmt 'top 100 country fashion' vh1/e! type list bs thing they were showing around the holidays? anyhow it was pretty odd - parts very general (cowboy hats, which only placed number six somehow), parts very specific (willie nelson's bandannas, reba's big hair), and after cowboy hats placed number six we were like 'well wtf is number one' and we figured if it wasn't cowboy hats then it had to be nudie suits. anyhow it turned out dolly parton's tits were number one.
