I don't know if I can take a side, but what a year 2004 was: highly skilled guitar bands take on Nintendo and Stravinsky, respectively, and both do quite a good job of it. Postmodernism is so gosh darn neat sometimes.

Yeah, Advantage is definitely better than any of the other video game music projects. Maybe because they're actually in rock bands and know how to rock.

Did anyone find the advantage's latest album a little less rocking
than the demos that used to be on their website? (also the album engages in more effects box trickery -- for shame!)
apparently their initial CD-R demos were recorded whilst completely
drunk -- does anyone have mp3s of this fabled document of a less
cynical era of 8-bitchery?)
