Free Folk Festivals

So i saw the NO FUN FEST is on again this year.Last year i skipped this & went to the Gladtree Festival in Mass. instead.A question for all of you in the know.Is there another festival like that in the works? I mean they brought the noise at times but primarily it was about the new weird ameica stuff as much as i hate that term.Matt Valentine,Born Heller,No Neck Blues Band,Six Organs of Admittance.
Down here in Texas i'm afraid you don't get too much advance notice of such events & i'd like to maximize my traveling dollar.

That schedule wasn't kept to perfectly, but that's the line-up more or less. It was put on by Clay Ruby of Davenport/23 productions. I think he's planning to do another one this year. I hope he does. I'd definitely go again. It was camping.

i expect i'll be there, dood! though maybe not; i may be in the process of moving away from NY in august and thus unable to really go.. but i'm gonna try hard to go; last year was a fucking blast.
