HAMMER vs VANILLA ICE vs IAN BROWN

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Thursday, 6 January 2005 06:33 (twenty-one years ago)

You have to admit, it was pretty cool when rappers could also dance.

Hurting (Hurting), Thursday, 6 January 2005 06:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Kid was a better dancer than either of those fools.

Jacob (Jacob), Thursday, 6 January 2005 06:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude, LIL JON can DANCE!

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Thursday, 6 January 2005 06:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Fat Joe doesn't dance he just...

Jacob (Jacob), Thursday, 6 January 2005 07:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Remember back when people were all like, Who's a better dancer: MC Hammer or Michael Jackson and now people are asking, Who's a bigger loser?

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Thursday, 6 January 2005 07:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Jacko is a bigger looser, apparently Reverend Hammer can preach like a maaafacker

lukey (Lukey G), Thursday, 6 January 2005 09:52 (twenty-one years ago)

That film where MC Hammer plays a washed up rapper who helps some kids win a talent contest and then Mellisa Joan Hart is a taxi driver is much better than anything Vanilla Ice has ever done

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Thursday, 6 January 2005 09:57 (twenty-one years ago)

vanilla posed with naomi and madonna so i'm jealous

rurple pain, Thursday, 6 January 2005 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

visually I thought that vinilla ice movie was quite intersting.

lukey (Lukey G), Thursday, 6 January 2005 12:09 (twenty-one years ago)

This is akin to saying "big steamy pile of caribou feces vs a metric ton of gold bars".

Hammer (uh, just helping out the above which gives an invalid referer anti-leech image. follow the link and come back and the desired effect should be found)

gspm (gspm), Thursday, 6 January 2005 22:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Does Vanilla Ice Go With That Shake, McHammer?

Ken L (Ken L), Thursday, 6 January 2005 22:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Hammer wins only cause Vanilla did a guest spot on a fucken Bloodhound Gang record.

On the other hand, that song is the best one on that BG record.

martin m. (mushrush), Thursday, 6 January 2005 22:21 (twenty-one years ago)

start again:
Does Vanilla Ice Go With That McShake, McHammer?

Ken L (Ken L), Thursday, 6 January 2005 23:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Hammer's shit before the album with U Can't Touch this has some classics...turn this mother out was awesome...Oaktown 357....this is Hammer in a landslide!

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Friday, 7 January 2005 00:08 (twenty-one years ago)

2 Legit 2 Quit was the first album I ever bought! I think I wanted it cos of "Addams Groove".

Richard C (avoid80), Friday, 7 January 2005 00:22 (twenty-one years ago)

- Oh my God, Vanilla Ice...
- He's so fly!
- The boy is so good.
- Did you see his body?
- He could dance too.
- He could.
- He's better than any rapper I ever seen!
- And plus his dancers!
- He's so jammin'!

chris andrews (fraew), Friday, 7 January 2005 02:32 (twenty-one years ago)

p.j. (Henry), Friday, 7 January 2005 03:26 (twenty-one years ago)

TS: the sample in "Ice, Ice Baby" vs. the one in "Can't Touch This."

p.j. (Henry), Friday, 7 January 2005 03:28 (twenty-one years ago)

p.j. - I'm gonna give it to Ice, Ice Baby, because remember its not a sample! In the words of Vanilla Ice: "Their song went 'Ding ding ding dingy ding- ding' Ice Ice baby goes 'Ding ding ding dingy ding-ding... ding' It has that extra ding, its completely different!"

Bryan Moore (Bryan Moore), Friday, 7 January 2005 08:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Rick James was a way more interesting cokehead than either Bowie or Jagger ergo Hammer wins.

Jacob (Jacob), Friday, 7 January 2005 10:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh wait, am confusing "under pressure" with "dancing in the street". Easy to do, right?

Jacob (Jacob), Friday, 7 January 2005 10:03 (twenty-one years ago)

TS: "Burning a ladyfriend with a crackpipe" vs "Becoming The Popstar Fuhrer"....FITE!
Preferably outside the gates of Stalingrad!

eight years pass...

I watched "Cool As Ice" w Rifftrax last night. LAUGHED SO DAMN HARD. Not just at the Rifftrax but at the movie itself. The Director of Photography went on to do Schindler's List, which is a fact they love to bring up. There is an endless amount of horrible lines but the absolute worst happens about 24 mins in and goes like this:

Vanilla Ice: Yo I'm outta here.
Ice's Posse: Where you goin?
Vanilla Ice: Across the street to uh..... schling a schlong.

He says this like it is the coolest thing ever to say. Effing HILARIOUS
