My mate's black metal band supported them when they came to Hitchin. Skindred started laying into him about making "evil music". The band even brought their own bouncers (to a tiny little club) who managed to pretty much cock up the whole night ending with another friend's (normally rather timid) girlfriend chucking a pint of beer at them.

They are a "local band" to me.

Why/how are they on national television?

I saw them support Motorhead in Swansea a few years back and Beji (singer) was wearing a red one piece PVS track suit thingamy. It was really hot and his crotch was REALLY sweaty.

Didn't they used to be Dub War?

They used to have three Dub War members, now the only guy left is Benji.

It's dancehall-metal, right? I heard it on the way to work this morning. It's bad, but way more fun than nu-metal w/out clave.

We should have really embraced these guys when we could have. As far as dancehall music aimed at American white people goes, this is like >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Major Lazer

I think the American push on the album just came like two years too late for the nu metal wave
