This song doesn't get mentioned a whole lot, yet I love it. Any thoughts on this? The David McWilliams version seems very ahead of it's time with the effect on the chorus and the repetitive strings etc.

i always wondered about his album. i've passed on it in stores before. it doesn't go for a lot. (vinyl, i'm talking about.) oh, but yeah, nice song. more "of" its time then ahead of it, no?

Sure - but I heard it kind of bombed on first release. It reminds me of Scott Walker. The Marc Almond version did quite well too I think, no?
