I misread this thread title as Bitterroot and thought it was going to be about my the valley in Western Montana where I grew up.

Sorry, I know nothing about Bittorrent, but I think there was a thread about this before. Did you try Search?

easytree.org fantastic live shows updated at a dizzying rate, very diverse stuff, not just the usual Dead/Springsteen/Beatles lots of Jazz, Indie, Classic Rock, Reggae Etc. Hell, someone uploaded a Stump show a few weeks ago.

Agreed, Alba. Being in Europe, and without tv, BT has been the easiest way for me to keep up on TV, and it's not such a bad way to grab movies which might take months to get released here or may not get released at all (or even worse, end up dubbed). Unfortunately, some of my favourite trackers have been shut down, which is not really surprising. I use btefnet for tv, and tvtorrents. Shun tv is not bad, either.

is sharingthegroove dead forever? can't get it to load - was a junkie for their torrents last summer, but my harddrive got filleded up with pix of my lovely girlfriend. am getting an external hd this week, and was hoping to fill it with muddy recordings of neil young or summat...

To be honest, it was a disappointment. Good archival footage, but a complete mess. It didn't give the impression that the production team had anything to say at all about Dennis Potter or song generally. It was framed by pointless shots of webpages defining the word 'song' - seriously!

But I'd be happy to send it to you.
