Can't believe, of the four lists I contributed (all slightly different, depending on my mood), I forgot the Andre Ethier album. (Man, that record ruled. Anyone know if he's doing another?)

And totally neglected the last Charalambides record, as well.

My short term memory is all but shot. My 'best of 2004' lists read like 'best of oct-dec 2004' lists.

I neglected NOJO's City of Neighbourhoods (my token modern big band entry) for my ILX list. Also, I think I should have maybe included Oneida instead of Mos Def but that was the choice I made at the time.

WHY YOU

On my lists, I put "Drop It Like It's Hot" @ #1. I can't stands it anymore. In other news, I forgot about "Tush". And most of Kanye's singles. But everyone else forgot about "Yeah Yeah Yeah"! & "Ride Wit U"!

Had I heard the Converge album sooner, it'd be getting some love. Undoubtedly, so would the Ted Leo. And I totally farted on Neurosis & the New Year. And I totally undervalued the Emma Bunton album.
