I understand Alex in NYC. That's why I placed it in quotes. I was having a hard time choosing between Fables, Pageant, Reckoning, and Murmur, and like usual, when I'm making the choice about what to listen to it, I chose "Chronic Town." Imagine how good the album would have been with that as side one!

(am i doing this right, by the way, or is this mode of thought too "rockist," not taking into account the decline of the album etc?)
