Just curious. I refuse to go into the store, so I'll never know first hand.

OK, I lied. I bought a staple gun there last month.

it would be even better if she did a french-canadian accordion stroll thru bad posture's "gdmfsob".

we go there when we shop off-island in falmouth. kidz clothes are just way too cheap to beat. you can clothe yer kid for the year on a 100 bucks there. i buy plastic storage containers there too. and cheap dvds.

Yeah, I've been there lots of times for the same reasons. But I always feel the need to take a shower afterwards.

Jazzbo (jmcgaw), Tuesday, 11 January 2005 14:27 (twenty years ago)

yeah, they are evil and everything, but who isn't in this dirty, stinking country? plus, i find that most of the people who boycott walmart would never ever shop there in a million years anyway.

But let me say it again: Great title! I've never heard her. Is she any good? I dig her family.

I've listened to a few samples from the album - kinda folky and not really my bag.
But what a voice! I loved her on the "McGarrigle Hour."

i dig her family, too, and have seen her play live opening for her brother. she's not very much like him, kinda weird and folky, and kinda hard to watch because she has attrocious posture when she plays guitar and sings, hunched over in a bizarre way that i think hurts me more than it hurts her. on the other hand, she does fabulous backup vocals for rufus, and stands up more or less straight when doing so.

Wal Mart not carrying an album is not censorship, despite what alarmists who would have you believe.
