You know, the Venezuelan pysch-blues group and their album of the same name. The album has really been growing on me- the drums are a little clunky here and there but everything else is beyond reproach- driving bass, good guitar sound and riffs, good songs, nice white-sounding blues vocals a la Spencer Davis era Stevie Winwood or Jack Bruce, interesting sequencing and variation of tempos. What say you?

i had the same reaction as you seem to have had. it took a few listens, but it did grow on me.

i like it, especially the quieter songs. don't get why south america seemed to have this massive traffic fixation, though.

I think I forget to mention the cool part where the Moby Grape harmonies over the Pinball Wizard chords becomes the European Son breakdown under the Pinball Wizard chords with the Funkadelic lead guitar freakout (pick me chuck!). No doubt the band members will deny these connections, but so be it.

FWIW, Ned wrote the allmusic review and Don Allred wrote about it in the Voice, I think.
